Job title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Description:

• Prepare and monitor the annual budget.

• Implement cost optimization and expense control initiatives.
• Develop and implement the bank’s overall financial strategy.
• Advise the CEO and Board on financial forecasting and strategic decisions.
• Oversee timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)/Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards (BFRS).
• Present Monthly, Quarterly and annual financial reports to the board and regulators.
• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, Income Tax laws and other financial authorities.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Supervise liquidity management, funding strategies and investment portfolio.
• Oversee ALCO (Asset-Liability Committee) meetings and decisions.
• Monitor interest rate risk and capital adequacy.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Academic Qualifications: Must have a Chartered Accountant (CA) /Cost Management Accountant (CMA)/Certified Financial Analyst or similar professional degree or Masters in Business Administration/Bank Management /Economics /Finance / Accounting /Banking from a recognized university approved by UGC with good academic record. Candidates having 3^rd Division/Class in any academic qualifications need not to apply.

• Banking Experience: Minimum 12 of working experience in Bank or Financial Institution; out of which at least 03(three) years of experience in accounting and tax-related activities in the bank. However, the length of service may be relaxed in case of highly qualified candidates. Candidates having Shariah Based Banking experience will be given preference.

• Professional Qualifications:

• Other relevant degree will be given preference.
• Good presentation skills and is proficient in writing/compiling quality reports in English.
• Must have leadership capability to manage and motivate staff.
• Strong network within the financial sector and with regulatory bodies.

• Age:  Not More than 55 Years. Age limit may be relaxed for exceptionally suitable Candidates.

Pay & Perquisites: Negotiable.
